On Sunday September 7th, I will be participating in Over The Edge for Chai. Over The Edge is much like it sounds. I will stand on the roof of a Montreal skyscraper and step Over the Edge and rappel to the ground in support of Chai Lifeline Canada!
When a child is born or diagnosed with a serious illness, the entire family is affected. Families literally can be torn apart as one parent moves into the hospital to be with the sick child. Siblings, already worried about a brother's, sister's or parents house, suffer greatly when their daily routines are disrupted. Chai Lifeline Canada steps in, offering whatever is needed, bringing light, laughter and happiness into the darkest times.
I am honoured to help raise awareness and funds for the Chai Lifeline Canada. This organization does incredible work and provide support to children who are battling serious illnesses. In helping me reach my fundraising goals you're also helping to support the Chai Warriors and their families.
Chai Lifeline has a special place in my heart as I know and saw from near and far the impact it has on affected families.
I would like to dedicate my participation and fundraising efforts in loving memory of Lev Langburt, a special little man gone way too soon who taught us so much, and continue his mission of bringing kindness, acceptance and joy to this world.
