Whitney Corrin's Bat Mitzvah
Dear Family and Friends,
I am very excited to share with you my Bat Mitzvah project.
In honour of my special day, I will be raising funds for Chai Lifeline Canada, a cause that I am so passionate about. Chai Lifeline Canada helps children across the country, who are faced with a chronic or life-threatening illness, by providing support for the family and their children.
Over the past few years in preparing for our Bat Mitzvahs, Annie and I have raised funds for this important charity!
I am also passionate about dance! I love to dance, and I dance competitively, it’s my sport! I dance over 8 hours a week, and I am fortunate enough that my parents can not only enroll me in classes but organize all the driving and carpooling. They also take me to professional ballet, musical theatre and other events and concerts all focused on the Performing Arts. It’s so easy to take these things for granted. I want to give this gift to other children who are not as lucky as me.
In lieu of gifts, please support my charitable project. As I dance this year, I will do so with the intention of raising funds for children with chronic or life-threatening illness, so they too can participate in the gift of dance and the arts through the special programs offered at Chai Lifeline Canada.
I am so excited to be able to support as many children as possible so they can experience the joy of dance and performance.
I appreciate your support in making this goal a reality!
Love,
Whitney
